BIO
Mira was born in Saint-Petersburg, Russia, and played violin for 12 years before she began her studies in vocal performance at St. Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory. In her fifth year of studies she spent a year at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Prof. Elena Pankratova). In September 2021 she began her MA Opera performance studies at the Bern Academy of Arts (Swiss Opera Studio, Prof. Malin Hartelius)

Mira sang her first major role, MADEMOISELLE SILBERKLANG in "Der Schauspieldirektor" at the St. Petersburg Opera and Ballet Conservatory Theatre at the age of 20. She has sung several productions there, the most important roles being BLANCHE (Dialogues des Carmélites, Poulenc), NANETTA (Falstaff, Verdi), DESPINA (Così fan tutte, Mozart). In July 2021 Mira made her debut as PAMINA in "Die Zauberflöte" by Mozart at "OperaFest" in Kandersteg, Switzerland (Berlin Opera Academy).

In the season 22/23 Mira is performing AMOUR in Orphée et Euridice by Gluck and ANNA in Nabucco by Verdi in Biel Solothurn Opera Theatre (Switzerland). In July 2022 she participated in aria and song concerts at the Verbier festival Academy. She will also participate in concerts and masterclasses with Thomas Hampson of the Heidelberger Frühling Liedakademie (Heidelberg-Berlin).

Mira is a prize winner of numerous vocal competitions. In 2022 she won second prize of the International Student LiedDuo Competition in Groningen (NL) and the 4th International Haydn Competition (Rohrau). She was named finalist of the ARIA TV competition on the OmroepMAX TV channel (NL). She also received Grand Prix of the 8th International George Enesco Competition (Paris, 2021) and first prize of the IX International Lied competition (St. Petersburg, 2020).
